SENIOR SURVEY CREW CHIEF

The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising survey crews in all phases of surveying including boundary, topographic, subdivision, FDOT and construction surveys. In this position you must be able to perform job duties under minimal supervision and in allotted time and assure that all survey work is within the project requirements and maintain quality control. Provide support and assistance as required to management, subordinates and co-workers. Training and mentoring of less experienced staff is required.


QUALIFICATIONS

· minimum of ten years of land surveying experience
· strong knowledge of surveys and field operations, electronic and conventional surveying instruments and equipment, robotic instrumentation, GPS, data collectors, and peripheral equipment
· proficiency with surveying computer applications such as data uploading and downloading, field closures & adjustments
· familiarity with office applications such as Word and Excel
· Auto Desk Land Desktop experience is a plus
· valid Florida driver's license
